Coleman Model 500A

Sportmaster Single Burner Stove

Born in September of 1957

Condition: Excellent

What a beautiful table stove! When fount it had the home-made stainless (?) wind screen installed and a ton of rust on the frame/burner and grate. The grate was removed while the frame & burner were blasted clean and painted silver. Please note that there is one area on the grate that is a bit out-of-round.

The fount paint is remarkably well-preserved and it shines nearly like new. There are a few small spots of paint chips and scuffs, but none are bad and the shine is still brilliant.

Stove was disassembled, cleaned and put back together without the wind screen. The valve stem packing and filler cap gasket were replaced while the remainder was cleaned and reused. She fires right up and burns great.

The first person to open the box did so from the bottom, and now two of the flaps are missing. It is solid and still holds the stove--great for display but not so much for using it.

Asking price is $130.00, plus shipping and insurance.
