Coleman Model 200A

Single Mantle Lantern

Born in September 1955

Condition: "User"

So, this is what a heavily used lantern that was cleaned but not repainted looks like. This is one of the by-Coleman painted frame lanterns, and I just didn't want to repaint it. It isn't rusty, what you see in the photos is the metal under the original silver paint.

Previous owner(s) took the lantern apart and probably shouldn't have. They made the frame rest go a bit out-of-round at the front and you can see it if you look closely at the lantern from the side.

Ventilator has chipping and a ding in the side. Didn't have a globe even so I added a replacement. Fount has no dents. She has a few tweaks and looks a bit tired, but she's more than ready for continued service.

Was rebuilt and runs great. Check valve and generator cleaned and retained, gasket added to CV. Filler cap gasket, valve stem packing replaced, and the neoprene pump cup (!!!) was sent to the round file in favor of a leather one.

Asking price is $55 plus shipping.

This item is boxed and ready to ship. It weighs 4.75lbs and measures 16"x11"x11". Use those measurements and a shipping zip code of 83858 at the USPS or UPS or FedEx website for an estimate. I use Pirate Ship to save on shipping costs and do not charge any shipping or handling fees.

First come, first served. No warranty, sold as-is.
