Holy cow isn't she a beauty! It has an unburned Coleman mantle installed and I thought that might be a real good sign. However the generator, vertical struts and air intake tube has heat markings near the mantle area. I don't think it was fired for long and probably only one time, based on the very low-level darkening of these spots. It was not lit for long!

The fount has some scuffs and rubs but even the bottom rim looks great. There are cracks in the decal and you can see them in the photo. Owners manual included.

I sold literally thousands of amber globes from Jafe Decorating in the early 2000s, and this is not one of them. This one was very nicely colored but is a much earlier "used on" version. I believe it is one of the "optional" globes of the day.

The clamshell case is in similarly excellent condition. It was born one month after the lantern in 1980. Please note that it does not have a funnel.
