Check Valve and Air Stem
The check valve has a check ball at the tip that allows air to flow left-to-right but prohibits air or fuel from flowing right-to-left.
The check valve threads into the fount or tank at the bottom of the pump cylinder. Is slotted at the top for installation and removal.
The air stem threads into the check valve and is turned with the hollow pump shaft. Turned counter-clockwise, it allows air to flow through the check valve per the check ball. Turned fully clockwise it completely closes the check valve.
The check valve and air stem are both made of brass and come together when ordered.
