Check Valve and Air Stem

  • The check valve has a check ball at the tip that allows air to flow left-to-right but prohibits air or fuel from flowing right-to-left.
  • The check valve threads into the fount or tank at the bottom of the pump cylinder. Is slotted at the top for installation and removal.
  • The air stem threads into the check valve and is turned with the hollow pump shaft. Turned counter-clockwise, it allows air to flow through the check valve per the check ball. Turned fully clockwise it completely closes the check valve.
  • The check valve and air stem are both made of brass and come together when ordered.
